Salmon School
From £1,450 per person
2025 is our 20th year! Hosted by Anthony Steel of Kirkwood – Real Farms & Mark Bowler of Fly Fishing & Fly Tying Magazine with expert casting tuition from our instructors. If you want to learn and improve spey casting while standing a good chance of catching a salmon with expert guidance on techniques and water craft, then the Salmon School is for you. There’s no need for previous salmon fishing experience. The school ideally suits anglers who have caught trout on flies, but possibly never salmon.
Wildlife & Photography School
From £900
Set in a stunning landscape there is a huge, and amazing, range of wildlife at Kirkwood – Real Farms so you will also have the opportunity to see and photograph an array of woodland birds and wild flowers, trees and more mammals such as deer, hares, otters and red squirrels. Our courses are led by Laurie Campbell; with over forty years experience in photographing nature, Laurie is arguably Scotland’s leading nature photographer and his practical tuition sessions are designed to show you how to use a selection of techniques to photograph a wide range of subjects in the natural world from wildlife to landscapes to macro photography.
