Kirkwood Beef

Kirkwood beef derives from Aberdeen Angus cattle (renowned Worldwide), Belted Galloways (the breed local to Kirkwood) and their crosses. But breed is not the most important factor.

Our cattle are older than most at slaughter, giving time for the meat to develop flavour. The carcasses are hung for a month, which is so important with beef. They are only grass fed, on our lush clover pastures, that are virtually (99%) organic and regenerative.
