At Kirkwood - Real Farms, you have a choice of seven charming holiday cottages. Spanning 600 acres of country estate, there are a wealth of activities for everyone to enjoy, including seasonal highlights like bottle feeding lambs (typically from May to August), fishing and year-round delights such as feeding chickens, collecting fresh eggs and tractor driving. During your stay, you're welcome to explore as much of our estate as you desire. This sense of freedom and seclusion, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle, is a key reason why so many of our guests return year after year.

Situated in the heart of South Scotland, Kirkwood - Real Farms boasts stunning, unspoiled lowland countryside featuring rolling hills, oak woods, and lush pastures. Our facilities include a games room equipped with a full-sized snooker table, table tennis and darts together with a bike lock-up area. Outside, children can enjoy a small play area with a fort and slide. During your stay, feel free to explore our 600 acre estate to your heart's content.

At Kirkwood -Real Farm Holidays, we provide numerous opportunities for you to delve into authentic farm life through our Real Farm Experiences. During your stay, you can select from a range of farm activities and experiences, including Quad Bike Driving, Tractor Driving, Off-Road 4×4 Driving, and much more. Real Farm
Wanting to sample some of our acclaimed produce during your stay? Raised on our lush fields, the lambs and cattle are among the purest. We adhere to the most natural farming practices, minimising the use of drugs, fertilisers, or chemicals. Our animals enjoy a high quality of life, nourished by natural food, resulting in the highest quality produce. Just ask the Michelin Star chefs we supply.
