Starlit Soakaway

Set in the woods, just up the hill from the Courtyard Cottages – Otter, Hare, Fox, Red Squirrel and Roe Deer – this Hot Tub is about as perfect as it gets! With views down to the Lake District on a good day (or as far as the stars on clear night!) it is secluded, peaceful and relaxing – just what a hot tub should be. And its sustainable – see below.

Available to Cottage residents only (and one group at a time, who take it for the whole day/night) our starlit soakaway is carbon neutral being heated initially by our biomass boiler (using fallen timber from Kirkwood as woodchip) then you keep it warm with a log burner incorporated into the hot tub.
